Lecture: 'Recent advances in explainable AI and assistive dialogues'
In this talk, I will discuss three eXplainable AI (XAI) projects and one project in assistive dialogues to help blind and low vision (BLV) users. The XAI projects deal with generating and comparing three types of explanations for a logistic regression model; investigating the influence of different aspects of uncertainty representation on the acceptance of predictions of ML models; and generating explanations for the predictions of goal recognizers. The assistive dialogue project combines a refreshable tactile display with a dialogue agent to help BLV users explore and analyze data.
